Privacy Policy
MBA Compass ("we," "us," "the Site") is an independent, advertising-supported comparison guide for prospective online MBA students. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the Site and the choices you have. We've kept it deliberately short because we collect very little.
1. Information we do not collect
The Site has no sign-up, no lead form, and no newsletter. We do not request or store your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with schools, lead brokers, or any third party, because we do not collect it in the first place.
2. Affiliate / partner links
Some outbound links on the Site — particularly to student-loan lenders on our financing pages — are affiliate or partner links. If you click one and later apply or sign up, we may earn a referral commission, at no additional cost to you. This never changes the rate or terms you are offered, and it does not influence the order in which we list options. When you click such a link you leave our Site and are subject to that company's own privacy policy and terms. We are not a lender, broker, or financial advisor, and the information on the Site is not financial advice.
3. Cookies and advertising
The Site is supported by display advertising. If you choose "Accept ads & cookies" on our consent banner, we and our advertising partners (for example, Google AdSense or a comparable network) may place cookies and similar technologies on your device to show relevant advertisements and measure their performance. These partners may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions with ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
If you choose "Essential only," advertising cookies are not loaded and the full comparison tool remains available to you.
A small technical preference (your cookie choice) is stored locally in your browser so we don't ask again on every visit. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (such as page views and general geography). Where used, this data is aggregated and not used to identify you individually.
5. Your choices and rights
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): Because we do not collect or sell personal information as defined under California law, there is nothing to access, delete, or opt out of selling on our side. Advertising partners that set cookies may process data under their own policies; you can manage personalized advertising at optout.aboutads.info and Google Ads Settings.
Other U.S. state privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut) provide similar rights; the same points above apply.
6. Children
The Site is intended for adults researching graduate education and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. External links
The Site links to universities' official websites and to advertisers' pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites. Review their policies separately.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the Site or applicable law evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
